Nightlife

There is plenty of nightlife to experience in Prague. Besides enjoying small pubs that can be found on almost every street in the city, one can also enjoy a quiet evening in one of the many tea and coffeehouses that are quite popular in Prague. Jazz clubs and other musical attractions are plentiful and there are just as many clubs for dancing. One can attend the ballet, opera, philharmonic, or theater for just a few dollars at Prague’s most prestigious performance spaces, such as the National Theater, the State Opera and the Estates Theater, where Mozart staged the premiere of Don Giovanni in 1787. The Prague Spring International Music Festival, the Agharta Jazz Festival and Tanec Praha, the Prague Dance Festival attract some of the world’s top talents.
