Intermediate German II

Course description:

Intermediate German II is intended to develop your communication and writing skills beyond the basic level. The course consists of four parts: grammar, reading, discussion, writing. Grammar of the Elementary and Intermediate I level is reviewed and practiced as appropriate. You will read a series of short texts and will have many opportunities to present your viewpoints to certain topics. The writing part includes four composition assignments based on class activities. Our textbook will be “Sprachkurs Deutsch 5”. At the end of the class you should know the grammar and the language capabilities, which are topics of this book. We will also watch two or three German movies.
